Buyers today have more information available to them than ever. Because of this, real estate agents no longer control the process .
Thanks to the Internet, buyers can make the most of the leg work themselves. Some sites allow buyers to filter down to very specific criteria. The buyers now have access to assessed values, taxes, previous sales history, and community information, such as schools, parks, and public services.
