What is a subsidized housing?

The OPV or public housing are those whose size, type and price are regulated by government, so that sets conditions for eligibility for economic and fiscal benefits by the purchaser, who must also meet certain conditions set regarding the ownership of these houses, income, family income, etc.

What limitations do you have?

VPO such housing must meet certain requirements to be granted: they must be intended to address common and can not exceed a maximum area. There VPOs public promotion (promoted by the Administration), but also for private development. The sale price is limited by a maximum and fixed by law.

There are also limitations for purchase / sale. VPO housing can only be sold before liberalization, notice to the Administration that managed, it can exercise its right of first refusal. The price, until you lose the status of subsidized housing, is regulated by the Administration. There is absolute freedom when housing prices stop their protected status and becomes free.
